SOREL-TRACY, Quebec — Brett Gallant and his Charlottetown Curling Club team will not get the chance to defend its title at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships.
The team lost a must-win game Friday against Ontario in the final game of the round robin. The 8-3 verdict allowed Ontario to finish 9-3 in second place and gave it a berth in tonight’s semifinal. P.E.I. was left at 8-4, tied for fourth place.
