Canadian men and women both 3-0 at Olympics

(CTV) Kevin Martin and his Canadian team kept their record perfect intact Thursday morning with a 7-3 win over a lackluster Swedish squad that was almost decided in the first end. The Kevin Martin juggernaut can stretch its record to 4-0 with a Thursday night win over the French team in men’s curling. The game can be seen on Sportsnet beginning at 11 Atlantic.

In other men’s games, Great Britain skip David Murdoch missed a chance to win with last rock in the 10th end, sending the Swiss team in to a first-place tie with Canada and Murdoch back to the drawing board with a 1-2 record.

Meanwhile, it was déjà vu all over again for Canada’s Cheryl Bernard on Thursday. For the third straight game, Bernard needed her last shot to pull out the victory, this time a 6-5 extra end win over Andrea Schoepp of Germany.
