Scots expecting a rowdy reception when they face the favourites during much-anticipated showdown

David Murdoch is an immensely popular curler in Canada.
Despite breaking Canadian hearts last April by beating Kevin Martin in the world championship final, the 31-year-old Scot has developed a large fan base in this country for his smile, his good-natured manner and, yes, his ability to play the game.
Tonight (11 pm Atlantic) at the Vancouver Olympic Centre, though, Murdoch will be in the crosshairs, and he expects to hear about it from a sellout crowd of nearly 6,000 during a round-robin men’s curling showdown everybody’s been waiting for.
Canada vs. Britain. Kevin Martin vs. David Murdoch. And it’s gonna be loud.
