SOURIS — The Eastern Kings Sportsplex is scheduled to host a 40-team bonspiel during Easter weekend and is working on details to add curling on a permanent basis next year.
Colin Lavie, a volunteer and part-time manager with the Sportsplex, said the board discussed the idea to add curling and felt it was a good fit for the arena.
“It looks like a go so far for at least one night (a week),” Lavie said.
The plan is to have curling available two days a week to get school kids involved and use the remaining five days for hockey and skating.
