Island teams who excelled in 2009 are the focus as Sport P.E.I. announces its finalists for the Island Petroleum team-of-the-year award, which will be presented Wednesday, April 14, at the Rodd Royalty Inn in Charlottetown.

The finalists are the Brett Gallant curling rink, Canada Games beach volleyball team of Andrew Costa and Brian Hansen and the Canada Games men’s soccer team.
