Laughter fills Eastern Kings Sportsplex as Souris sweeps into curling fun spiel (Guardian)

SOURIS — Fun and laughter could be seen and heard here Saturday at the curling fun spiel held at the Eastern Kings Sportsplex.
Forty teams swept onto the ice armed with their curling brushes and shoes to throw rocks on the newly created curling ice.
“We had a 78-year-old veteran curler here and he said the ice was equal to anything he’s ever played on,” said volunteer Waldron Leard.
