Don Callbeck, a well-known city resident through his long-time work as a bartender with the Charlottetown Curling Club, the Charlottetown Yacht Club and the former Charlottetown Driving Track, died suddenly early Wednesday morning.
He competed in the national Brier in Fredericton in 1975 after capturing the provincial men’s curling championship with Don MacRae, John Fortier and David Kassner.
