Former PEI curler chasing berth in European Ch’ship (Guardian)

One-time Summerside native Miles MacLure may reside in a country far from his Island home, but he took something familiar with him.

MacLure lives and curls in Amsterdam, the capital and largest city in the Netherlands, and with his rink is aiming for a berth in the world curling championships in Regina, Sask., in April.

He’s the second stone on the Netherlands rep at the European curling championships which runs today though Dec. 12 in Switzerland.
