SUMMERSIDE — The Pre-Tankard warm-up will take place this weekend at the Silver Fox Curling Club in Summerside.
Most of the top teams in the province will start this warm-up spiel Friday at 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Draws on Saturday begin at 10 a.m. with the semifinal set for 1 p.m. and finals at 4 p.m.
Some of the teams competing this weekend are: Robert Campbell, the Atlantic Curling Tour money leader this year who is freshly off a Canadian Mixed title; Rod MacDonald, two-time Labatt’s Tankard defending champ; and former Canadian junior men’s champion Brett Gallant, along with his father, Peter, who will be playing third stone for his team.
