PEI’s 2011 provincial women’s curling champions, the Suzanne Birt team, have named their fifth player for the national Scotties Tournament of Hearts, February 19-27 at the Charlottetown Civic Centre.  Tricia Affleck, the lead from the Kathy O’Rourke rink, last year’s national Scotties silver medal team, and this year’s provincial runners-up, will join Suzanne Birt, Shelly Bradley, Robyn MacPhee, Leslie MacDougall, and coach Paul Power as alternate.
