Jones drops Yukon/NWT, now 2-0 at Hearts (CP/CBC)

Team Canada skip Jennifer Jones opened the second day of competition at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts with a 12-1 rout of Kerry Galusha of the Yukon/Northwest Territories at Charlottetown, PEI.

Jones sealed the victory Sunday morning by scoring five in the sixth end.

Jones opened the Canadian women’s curling championship with a 7-6 victory over Quebec’s Marie-France Larouche.

Larouche bounced back Sunday with a 10-5 victory over Heather Smith-Dacey of Nova Scotia.
