Canada Games: Smith rink loses to NB this afternoon

The P.E.I. men’s curling team, skipped by 12 year old Tyler Smith, is now at 1-3, after an 8-2 loss to undefeated Team New Brunswick (4-0), shipped by Scott Babin, this afternoon. NB picked up a deuce in the opening end, and a triple in the third, to build an early 5-1 lead in this afternoon’s game  at the Mayflower Curling Club in Halifax.

The Island rink wraps up round robin play on Thursday at 2:30, against Saskatchewan, who are second in the round robin pool, with a 2-1 win-loss record.
