– TSN’s coverage begins Saturday at 4 a.m. ET with Canada vs. China –
TSN joins Team Canada in Esbjerg, Denmark for the biggest tournament on the women’s international curling calendar, the 2011 CAPITAL ONE WORLD WOMEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP. TSN’s exclusive live coverage begins Saturday at 4 a.m. ET with Canada’s opening draw against China. TSN’s coverage runs from March 19 to 27, featuring Team Canada draws as well as the Page Playoffs, Semifinal and Final (see complete broadcast schedule below).
Canada is represented by the 2011 SCOTTIES TOURNAMENT OF HEARTS winner, Team Saskatchewan, led by skip Amber Holland, third Kim Schneider, second Tammy Schneider and lead Heather Kalenchuk. Holland will guide her rink through 11 draws in hopes of advancing Team Canada to the playoff rounds.
TSN’s acclaimed curling broadcast team is on site in Esbjerg with Vic Rauter calling the action alongside Olympic gold medallist Linda Moore and two-time Brier Champion and Olympic gold medallist, Russ Howard.
