On Thursday, May 19th at the Confederation Centre of the Arts Memorial Hall,  the Canadian Paraplegic Association (CPA) are hosting “An Evening With Cassie Campbell” presented by The Dominion General Insurance Company, who are also a big supporter of the sport of curling.  The evening will begin with a wine & cheese Reception at 6:30pm, sponsored by  Mavor’s, including a complimentary glass of wine.  During this time you will have the chance to meet and chat with Cassie Campbell, a two-time Olympic gold medallist, six-time women’s hockey world champion,  and a CBC Hockey Night in Canada host.
 
At 7:00pm “Partner In Progress” awards will be presented to organizations and companies that have made a difference in the community by supporting CPA and people with disabilities, as well as honouring participants who took part in the CPA “Chair-Leaders” Event on May 4th. “Chair-Leaders” include: Alan Campbell, Robert Vessey, Robert Mitchell, Valerie Docherty, Clifford Lee, Sean Casey, Phil Handrahan, Myles MacKinnon and Roy Main. 

At 7:30 pm Cassie Campbell will give a motivational speech.
