Draw One is over at the PEI Tankard, being played at the Cornwall Curling Club. First draw winners are:
Donald Clarey of Montague with an 8-6 win over Cornwall’s Rob Young,
Peter MacDonald with a 7-2 win over Charlottetown clubmate Charlie Wilkinson,
John Likely of Charlottetown with a 7-4 win over Charlottetown and Cornwall’s Bill Hope,
and
Jamie Newson of Charlottetown, who edged Summerside’s Blair Jay 5-4.

Opening ceremonies go at 5:30 pm, with draw two, including the top four seeds – Robert Campbell, Brett Gallant, Mike Gaudet, and Rod MacDonald, going at 6:30 pm.
