Glenn Howard begins quest for 4th World title on Saturday (TSN)

Canada’s Glenn Howard begins his quest for a fourth title, and second as a skip, when the Capital One Men’s World Championships get underway in Basel, Switzerland on Saturday.

Howard takes on France’s Thomas Dufour in the opening draw on Saturday, a game you can watch on TSN and TSN Mobile TV at 9am at/5am pt.

Among the rinks that will be competing against Howard include last year’s silver medalist Tom Brewster of Scotland and bronze medalist Niklas Edin of Sweden as well as Olympic silver medalist Thomas Ulsrud of Norway.

“We’re going to give it a good run at Basel,” said Howard. “We’re on a pretty good run now and I hope we can bring that into play in Switzerland.”

Canada’s Jeff Stoughton is the defending world champion.

Note: The gold and bronze medal games will be televised on TSN and TSN Mobile TV on April 8. TSN.ca will have live streaming of select weekday morning and afternoon draws.
