Nedohin rink qualifies for Olympic Trials (QMI)

EDMONTON – Heather Nedohin may have lost the battle, but she sounded like she’s just won the war.

Nedohin and her Edmonton Saville Centre crew rode the wave of their breakout year to become the second team to qualify for next year’s Olympic curling trials.

“We’re celebrating right now,” said Nedohin from the Players Championship in Summerside, P.E.I. “It’s a huge accomplishment for us.”

Nedohin and her crew of third Beth Iskiw, second Jessica Mair and lead Laine Peters join already qualified Jennifer Jones in the eight-team trials at Winnipeg in the fall of 2013.
