Round robin play begins Friday morning in the Lady Monctonian cashspiel at the Curl Moncton facility, with three Island rinks, skipped by Suzanne Birt, Kim Dolan, and Kathy O’Rourke, taking part, along with 14 other teams from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Quarter-finals go Sunday at 8:30 am, with the semis at 11:30, and the final at 2:30 pm.

As well as cash, Canadian Team Ranking System (CTRS) points, used to rank curling teams across Canada, and help determine eligibility for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, are on the line at this event.
