There will be a new champion this year at the Atlantic Curling Tour‘s PEI Brewing Company Fall Classic cashspiel,at the Montague Curling Club, as the Brent MacDougall rink from Halifax, who won the event in its first two years, lost in the semi-finals this morning to the Rob Harris rink, also from Halifax. Harris will face PEI’s Mike Gaudet foursome in the 12: 30 pm final. Gaudet beat another PEI rink, skipped by Rod MacDonald in the semis to advance.
MacDougall, MacDonald, and Harris all went 4-0 in the round robin, while Gaudet went 3-1.
12 teams, from PEI and Nova Scotia, took part in the annual Atlantic Curling Tour event.
