The Canada’s Best Value Cashspiel will take place this weekend at the Charlottetown Curling Complex starting on November 1, with the finals taking place on November 4.

This is the 6th event on the Atlantic Curling Tour schedule, and features 20 of the top mens’ and womens’ teams in Atlantic Canada.  Included in the field are many former Brier and Scotties participants, as well as national and world champions.

The men’s triple-knockout draw begins at 6:00 Thursday evening, and continues with 3 draws on Friday and 2 on Saturday.  The women’s teams will play a round-robin in 2 pools, with games beginning on Thursday evening at 8:30 and continuing with 2 draws each on Friday and Saturday.  Semi-finals and finals for both men and women will take place on Sunday, November 4.  The list of participating mens’ and womens’ teams and the full schedule is available here: Canada’s Best Cash Spiel

Volunteers are needed to assist with this event in various capacities.  If you are available to assist, please contact Rob at the club, 892-7467 or via email at [email protected].  In particular, they are in need of people who would be available to welcome the teams on Thursday and publish updated results on their website throughout the weekend.

Callbeck’s Bar & Grill will be open from 4:00 through 9:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, and from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm on Saturday.
