Webster rink out in playoff round at Colonial Square Ladies Classic in Saskatoon

The Crystal Webster rink from Calgary, which includes PEI natives Erin Carmody and Geri-Lynn Ramsay, will not be repeating as winners of the $54,000 Colonial Square Ladies Classic cashspiel in Saskatoon, after losing  5-2 to the Michelle Jaeggi team from Switzerland in playoff action this morning.  The quarter-finals are underway now, with Anna Sidorova of Russia playing Heather Nedohin, Stefanie Lawton taking on Shannon Kleibrink, Chelsea Carey playing Jaeggi, and Chantelle Eberle battling Rachel Homan. The semis go at 6 pm Atlantic, with the final at 9:30 AT.

The Webster rink are off to Brantford Ont. next, to compete in The Masters Grand Slam of Curling, which gets underway Thursday.
