Birt rink advances to Tier Two semi-finals at The Rogers Masters Grand Slam

PEI’s Suzanne Birt rink is one of eight qualifiers in the Tier Two semi-finals at The Rogers Masters Grand Slam of Curling event in Brantford Ont. The PEI rink defeated the Manuela Sigrist team from Switzerland 8-1 this afternoon in only 4 ends to advance to the Tier Two semi-finals Saturday at 9:30 am Atlantic against Heather Strong of Newfoundland.The winners of the 9:30 draw play at 1 pm Saturday, with two of the eight berths in the main event quarterfinals up for grabs.
