It came down to the last rock – a draw to the button for PEI’s Suzanne Birt against BC’s Kelly Scott, but the rock slid a bit too far, giving the 9-8 win to BC, tonight at the Scotties in Kingston. PEI is now at 4-4, BC is 4-3.
PEI plays Nova Scotia (Arsenault) Thursday at 3, Alberta at 10 am Friday, and Ontario at 3 pm.
Ontario’s Rachel Homan and Manitoba’s Jennifer Jones are the only two undefeated teams, and play each other at 10 am Thursday.
