The Tim Horton’s Brier starts Saturday in Edmonton. Besides Team PEI, two other PEI natives are also in the event – Adam Casey and Brett Gallant from Newfoundland and Labrador’s Team Gushue. TSN will be featuring their game against Nova Scotia’s Paul Flemming rink at 4:30 pm Atlantic. PEI’s Eddie MacKenzie rink will be playing Saskatchewan’s Brock Virtue team at the same time (no Islanders on that team, but second Chris Schille is reported to be dating PEI second Anson Carmody’s sister, Erin).

Gushue and MacKenzie will face each other in the next draw, at 9:30 pm Atlantic.
