Directors, managers, and members of the Charlottetown Curling Complex were very pleased yesterday when Everett MacDougall stopped by to throw a few rocks. Everett has been suffering some health issues this year that have prevented him from coming out to curl until now.
At 99 years young, Everett is the Complex’s oldest member, and what makes him all the more remarkable is that he did not take up curling until the age of 74. As you can see from the picture below, he is still in peak form.
Everett will be celebrating a milestone birthday on May 7, and the Charlottetown Curling Complex offers their best wishes as he curls into his second century. Congratulations, Everett! It’s good to have you back, and you inspire us all!
