PEI’s Mel Bernard rink are undefeated after their second draw at the Dominion Legion Curling Championships in Alberton, following up yesterday’s 8-3 win over Newfoundland and Labrador with a 10-2 victory over Saskatchewan’s Andrew Hay rink from the Nutana Legion branch this morning. PEI stole two ends, and recorded a four-ender and a triple in the game, which went only 8 ends.
The Island rink, from the Summerside Legion, are on the ice now against Quebec’s Mike
Normandeau team from the Hudson Legion.
The only other undefeated team is Manitoba/Northwestern Ontario, skipped by Blair
Goethals from the Deloraine branch, who are at 3-0.
