The banquet for the Canadian Stick Curling Championship was held tonight at the Rodd Royalty in Charlottetown, with event organizer Shirley Lank acting as MC.

Dignitaries in attendance included Tourism Minister Robert Henderson, Fisheries Minister and local MLA Ron MacKinley, Cornwall Town Council representative Peter Meggs, Cornwall Curling Club President Bob Fowler, and outgoing Stick Curling PEI president Bob Leard, along with co-organizer Audrey Callaghan, and representatives from the host committee for next year’s championship, which wiill be held beginning March 30 in St. Albert Alberta.
