PEI natives Carmody, Ramsay in Autumn Gold Classic in Calgary this weekend

Play gets underway at 12:30 pm Atlantic on Friday in the $50,000 32 team Curlers Corner Autumn Gold Classic women’s World Curling Tour event at the Calgary Curling Club.. Ontario’s Sherry Middaugh is the defending champion. Other teams entered this year include Rachel Homan of Ontario, Cheryl Bernard of Calgary, Crystal Webster, also of Calgary, whose team includes PEI native Geri-Lynn Ramsay, Laura Crocker of Edmonton, with PEI native Erin Carmody playing third stone, Amber Holland of Regina and Shannon Kleibrink of Calgary. The final goes Monday at 6:30 pm Atlantic.
