The annual 16 team Journal Pioneer Cashspiel, part of the Atlantic Curling Tour, is set for the Silver Fox Curling & Yacht Club in Summerside from Nov. 22-24, with $7200 in total prize money (assuming 16 teams). First draws are at 12:30 and 3 pm on Friday.(if full entry). Three eight-end games are guaranteed, with the top four teams advancing to the Sunday championship round. There is a consolation event as well. Entry fee is $450 for men’s and women’s teams, plus a $31.50 Atlantic Curling Tour fee (men only).
