LADY MONCTONIAN round robin play is complete at Curl Moncton, and the quarter-finals got underway at 8 this morning. PEI’s Suzanne Birt and Kathy O’Rourke rinks both finished round-robin play with 3-2 records, and have advanced to the quarters, with Birt playing Christina Black, and O’Rourke taking on Melissa Adams. The other PEI rink in the event, skipped by Kim Dolan, also finished at 3-2, tied with Kelly MacIntosh and Sarah Rhyno in their pool, but did not advance after draw to the button results were compared.
