SUMMERSIDE — The Journal Pioneer and Summerside Quality Inn sponsored Cashspiel, which is part of the Atlantic Curling Tour, is being held this weekend at the Silver Fox Curling Club.

Blair Jay (left), one of the Cashspiel organizers, goes over details of this weekend’s event with the Summerside Quality Inn’s Dave Groom and Sandy Rundle, publisher of the Journal Pioneer. The two businesses are title sponsors of the Cashspiel, which begins Friday afternoon.
These teams will play against the winners of the 3 p.m. draw.
Action will continue Saturday, and the semifinals will be held Sunday at 10 a.m. and the finals at 2 p.m.
Prize structure:
Winner $1800.00
Runner – up $1200.00
Third $900.00
Fourth $900.00
Consolation $600.00
