ALBERTON — It was a long time in the making, but Donald DeWolfe, skip of the Cornwall boys team said their first win over the Alex MacFadyen rink in two or three years couldn’t have come at a better time.
It came in the championship final of the O’Connor Glass Curl P.E.I. Under 16 Boys competition Sunday night at the Western Community Curling Club in Alberton.

DeWolfe trailed the defending champion MacFadyen from the Silver Fox until a timely deuce tied things up 3-all in the fifth end and he took the lead 7-4 in the seventh when his team scored a four-ender.
