PEI’s Adam Casey rink, which includes Skip Adam Casey (Twitter @adamacasey), third Josh Barry (Twitter @joshbarry1992), second Anson Carmody, (Twitter @Ansoncarmody), and lead Robbie Doherty (Twitter @robbiedoherty), will hit the ice at 9:30 AT this morning against Sudbury’s Mike Jacubo team in the $52,500 “Challenge Château Cartier de Gatineau” cashspiel, presented by DoubleTree, in Gatineau Quebec. The event, part of the World Curling Tour, will be jointly held at the Centre Sportif Robert Rochon in Gatineau, the Buckingham Curling Club and the Thurso Curling Club.

Other Atlantic Canada teams entered are skipped by Mark Dacey, Ian Fitzner-Leblanc, Brent MacDougall, Jeremy Mallais, and the defending champions, the Brad Gushue rink from St. John’s, which includes PEI native Brett Gallant. Other entries include David Murdoch of Scotland, Mike McEwen from Winnipeg, Jean Michel Menard from Quebec, John Epping from Toronto, Niklas Edin from Sweden, and an Ottawa team skipped by Souris PEI native Ian MacAulay.
