CurlingZone is reporting that the featured 1:30 pm Atlantic game at the National Grand Slam event in Sault Ste. Marie on Sportsnet (main channel) will be the match between hometown favourite Brad Jacobs and PEI’s first team ever in a Grand Slam event, Team Adam Casey.
Fans of the Brad Gushue rink, which includes PEI native Brett Gallant, will be able to watch them take on the Kevin Koe foursome, Friday at 8:30 pm on Sportsnet East, Ontario & Pacific.

The rink has reached the final at three World Curling Tour events this season: the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, the Dave Jones Molson Mayflower Cashspiel and the CookstownCash presented by Comco Canada Inc.

The Sochi Olympic gold medallists made it to the semifinals Masters earlier this month. The team also won the Tim Hortons Brier and the world men’s curling championship silver medal in 2013.
