Smith rink sweeps Tuesday’s Canada Games matches

The Tyler Smith rink from Crapaud and Montague improved to an even 2-2 win-loss record at the Canada Games in Prince George after pulling  off an 8-7 extra end win over NB Tuesday evening. Earlier in the day they beat the Yukon 11-5.The Island squad’s final round robin game is at 1 pm Wednesday, against BC (4-0)teamsmithcanadagames2015.

The Island squad opened the day with a 11-4 victory over Yukon and closed it with an 8-7 extra end win over New Brunswick.

P.E.I., comprised of players from Crapaud and Montague curling clubs, concludes the preliminary round Wednesday at 9 a.m. Pacific against British Columbia (4-0).
