A draw for 4 in the fourth end gave Windsor Nova Scotia’s Doug MacKenzie rink a 4-2 lead over PEI’s Eddie MacKenzie team this afternoon at the Canadian Mixed in Toronto. The Bluenosers followed this up with steals of 2, 1, and 2 to bring the game to handshakes and a 9-2 win.
PEI’s MacKenzie team, who lost their opener on Sunday, 6-2 to Saskatchewan’s Bruce Korte, play BC at noon, and Ontario at 9 pm on Tuesday. Ontario currently leads the standings at 2-0, while Manitoba and the Northwest Ontario are also undefeated, at 1-0.
