Mitchell Schut rink goes undefeated to win Wendy’s U16 Developmental League

Cornwall’s Mitchell Schut rink went undefeated in six games to come first in the Wendy’s Under 16 developmental league, open to curlers from all clubs, which wrapped up this morning at the Cornwall Curling Club. The team came from behind in today’s game against their clubmates the Emma Coffin foursome, fighting back from a 3-0 deficit after two ends, to lead by one coming home without hammer, and stole five points in the final end to lead the series with a point score of 103. Other members of Team Schut are third Colin MacKenzie, second Michael MacEwen, and lead Liam Kelly, with coach Nancy Yeo. Schut took the mic and thanked the organizers and teams for a great event.
