Suzanne Birt
Hanna stole three in the fifth end to open up a 6-1 lead over P.E.I.’s Suzanne Birt rink, and never looked back en route to an important 8-5 win at the 2016 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
The Birt rink will conclude round-robin play at the Canadian women’s curling championship against Quebec’s Marie-France Larouche (4-6) on Friday morning. The top four teams advance to the Page playoffs.
