ST. ALBERT, Alta. – Summerside native Geri-Lynn Ramsay and her rink won their opening game at the 2017 Alberta Scotties provincial women’s curling championship on Wednesday.

Ramsay, who skips a rink out of the North Hill Curling Club in Calgary scored a deuce with the hammer in the 10th end to edge Trisha James 7-6.
Update: Ramsay was back on the ice against Nadine Chyz in Wednesday’s Draw 2, and won 9-7.
