Following the closing ceremony for the girl’s portion of the Provincial Under 18 Curling Championships on Sunday afternoon, the awards for the combined boy’s and girl’s event were handed out for Coaching, as voted on by their coaching peers at the event, and Sportsmanhip, as voted on by the players. Curl PEI President Andrew Robinson was on hand to present the awards.
The winner of the coaching award was Roger Gavin, coach of the Donald DeWolfe boy’s team from Cornwall, the Silver Fox, and the Western Community curling clubs.

The winner of the girl’s sportsmanship award was Lexie Murray, second on the Katie Shaw rink from Charlottetown.
