Crapaud, PE – The Crapaud Community Curling Club will hold their Official Reopening in conjunction with an Open House on Friday, November 24.
The Open House, starting at 7pm, is free and open to the public. There will be instructors on hand and brooms and sliders are supplied. No curling experience is necessary. Children under 13 are required to wear a CSA approved helmet.
The Official Reopening will take place at 7:30pm.
“The Curling Club was closed last year and we are excited to have the ice in and have the club reopen,” said President Susan Hubley. “This event provides the opportunity to recognize the many volunteers and supporters who helped make the reopening possible. It is also an opportunity for those interested in curling, or renting the facility, to stop by, check out the venue, and maybe even throw a few rocks. All are welcome.”
Light refreshments will be provided.
The Crapaud Community Curling Club offers a variety of programs such as Sunday and After-School programs for youth, and Stick Curling for seniors. This year the Club is also offering Drop-In Curling on Friday nights for anyone wanting to give curling a try.
