The teams were tied 2-2 after four ends, but single steals in the next three ends gave Ontario a three point lead going into the final end, where Ontario was lying one behind cover, and PEI ran out of rocks.

Ontario now takes on Alberta in one 7:30 pm women’s semi-final, with Manitoba playing Nova Scotia, who beat BC in a extra end in their quarter-final this afternoon, in the other. On the men’s side, it’ll be BC vs NL and Manitoba vs Alberta in the 7:30 pm semis. The women’s and men’s gold and bronze medal games go Saturday at 10 am.
