The provincial championship for the new Olympic sport of Mixed Doubles Curling got underway this morning at the Charlottetown Curling Complex, with eight teams, from the Charlottetown, Crapaud, and Cornwall curling clubs taking part, with the winning team advancing to the 2018 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship from March 29 to April 1 in Leduc Alberta.
