The ice has been going in at the Charlottetown Curling Club, and they are on schedule to begin League play on Oct. 28th. The Club itself will be open for business as of Oct. 18th. Tentative closing date this season is April 27th.
On-site registration dates are as follows:
- Thursday, Oct. 18th from 5-9pm
- Friday, Oct. 19th from 5-9pm
- Saturday, Oct. 20th from 1-4pm
- Thursday, Oct. 25th from 5-9pm
- Friday, Oct. 26th from 5-9pm
On Friday the 26th they will also be hosting a free Learn to Curl drop-in session for anyone interested in trying out the game.
They have fine-tuned membership types and rates to ensure that they are fair and competitive. In addition to reducing the overall cost of most memberships, they have also introduced half-year options for snowbirds and others who cannot participate in a full season. See their Membership Info page for details.
The league schedules have been finalized and most will remain the same as last season. In particular, the Daytime Curling, Semi-Competitive, Anything Goes and Commercial Leagues are all keeping the same time slots. Please see their Club Calendar for the complete schedule.
They are pleased to announce the release of their new website, which remains at CharlottetownCurlingClub.ca. The Curling Club Manager software will allow online league registration, event management, setting up spares, online scoring and much more. Information about how to log into your profile will be emailed to members soon.
