The rink of Alan Brown, William Callbeck, Michael MacRae, and Winston Bryan, from the Charlottetown Fire Department won the Provincial Firefighters Curling Championship held over the weekend at the Montague Curling Rink, and will represent PEI firefighters at the 60th Annual Canadian Fire Fighters Curling Championship, March 16-23 in Kelowna, BC. The Charlottetown team were up 8-5 going into the last end of the final, and ran the Summerside FD, skipped by Leo Stewart, out of rocks to pick up the win.
