PINTY’S GRAND SLAM OF CURLING, KIOTI TRACTOR TOUR CHALLENGE
The curling community in Pictou County is pleased to announce that the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling, Tour Challenge will take place at the Pictou County Wellness Centre from November 5th through 10th, 2019.
The Tour Challenge will feature 30 top men’s and 30 women’s teams from around the world divided into two tiers of 15 men’s and 15 women’s squads. This is the first curling event and the largest Grand Slam event to be hosted at the Pictou County Wellness Centre. Defending champion Team Homan (Ottawa) is set to lead the women’s Tier I division, while 11-time Grand Slam winner Team Gushue (St. John’s) will headline the men’s Tier 1 competition.
In the neighbouring rink, Tier II competition will feature a number of local squads, including: Team Arsenault (Halifax), Team Birt (Charlottetown), Team Brothers (Halifax), Team Crawford (Saint John, NB),
