The Charlottetown Curling Club is the first curling facility east of Montreal to offer Glow in the Dark curling on a regular basis. They will be offering it on Saturday evenings during the curling season. Fluorescent paint is used on the circles in the “house” and on the hog lines, and plastic glow sticks are used on the rocks, and can be worn by the players. The overhead lights are turned off, and ultraviolet “black” lights are used to make the glow effect.
You can rent the ice for Glow in the Dark curling on Saturday evenings at $120 per sheet for 1.5 hours for 8 curlers.
