The Midland Maritime Junior U15/U18 Winter Spiel wrapped up Sunday at Curl Moncton, with 34 teams registered and all ten sheets of ice in use.

PEI’s Ella Lenentine rink made it to the U15 final, while the Mitchell Schut foursome finished in third place in the U18 division, winning the bronze medal game over New Brunswick’s Team LeBlanc. Also entered was PEI’s Brayden Snow squad, who got off to a great start with an 11-4 win over New Brunswick’s Team Pugsley in their opener. The U18 final saw Team Boyle from Fredericton’s Capital Winter Club defeat Nova Scotia’s Ethan Young team.
