The Darcy Robertson rink from Winnipeg edged the Mackenzie Zacharias rink from the Altona Curling Club 7-6 in the final on Sunday at the Morris Curling Club to win the Cargill Curling Centre Fall Classic and a spot in the Manitoba Women’s Provincials. Team Zacharias, which includes New Dominion PEI’s Lauren Lenentine, and are the reigning World Junior champs, stole the 7th end to lead coming home. Down one with hammer, Robertson scored a deuce to pull out the victory.
