Team PEI’s MacFadyen siblings lost their lone Friday game 8-2 to the western duo of Chaelynn Kitz and Kyler Kleibrink (Shannon’s son), who are at 2-0 despite having never played together before. PEI is at 0-3 and has Saturday off, with Sunday games at 2:30 vs Mark Nichols and Brianne Meilleur, and 11:30 against Reid Carruthers and Selena Njegovan, both 1-1.

Defending champions Jocelyn Peterman and PEI’s Brett Gallant are 1-1 after a 7-6 Friday shading over Oshawa’s Clancy Grandy and Patrick Janssen. Peterman/Gallant play Winnipeg’s Colton Lott and Kadriana Sahaidak (2-0) at 11:30 am Sat. and New Brunswick’s Alex Robichaud and Melissa Adams (0-2) in the 8:30 pm draw. Peterman/Gallant’s 11:30 am match will be the Feature Game on TSN.
